WHO AM I NOW? A Young Adolescents Group.

Beginning high school is an exciting time but one that brings challenges with new friendships, heavier loads of school work and a whole new set of adults to relate to. Young adolescents get a chance to reinvent themselves but how does one do this?

Focusing on developing an authentic voice and social skills, this group will explore the excitement of new identities and the worries that come with new responsibilities and pressures. This group includes an overnight camping experience in the local bay area. The goals of this group will be to increase psychological capacity for self-encouragement, enthusiasm and strengthen each member’s sense of personal accomplishment.
